COMMITMENT TO COMPLIANCE

At UgenticAI, we are fully committed to adhering to the highest standards of regulatory compliance, integrity, and ethical conduct in all our operations. As part of our governance and risk management framework, we implement robust Know Your Customer (KYC), Anti-Money Laundering (AML), and Anti-Terrorism Financing (ATF) measures, consistent with applicable laws and global best practices.

Know Your Customer (KYC)

KYC procedures are central to our efforts to prevent illegal activities such as money laundering, fraud, and other financial crimes. Our KYC policies involve:

  • Customer Identification: We collect and verify the identity of our clients and business partners using reliable, independent source documents, data, or information.
  • Due Diligence: We perform appropriate levels of customer due diligence (CDD) based on the nature and risk profile of the relationship.
  • Ongoing Monitoring: We regularly review and update client information to ensure continued compliance, particularly in the case of high-risk clients or unusual transactions.
  • Beneficial Ownership Disclosure: We require disclosure of the ultimate beneficial ownership of entities with whom we engage, ensuring transparency and accountability.

Anti-Money Laundering (AML)

We maintain comprehensive AML procedures including:

  • Transaction Monitoring: We maintain transaction monitoring systems to detect unusual patterns and suspicious activities
  • Enhanced Due Diligence: We conduct enhanced due diligence for high-risk relationships and transactions
  • Record Keeping: We maintain records for minimum statutory periods (typically 5 years) in accordance with regulatory requirements
  • Regulatory Reporting: We file Suspicious Activity Reports (SARs) and Currency Transaction Reports (CTRs) when required by law
  • Risk Assessment: We conduct periodic risk assessments to identify and mitigate money laundering risks

Anti-Terrorism Financing (ATF)

We recognize the critical role that financial institutions and holding companies play in combating terrorism financing. Our ATF program includes:

  • Screening: All counterparties and transactions are screened against international watchlists and sanctions regimes, including those maintained by the United Nations, OFAC, and other relevant authorities.
  • Transaction Monitoring: We deploy risk-based systems to detect suspicious activities that may indicate potential terrorism financing or other illicit behavior.
  • Reporting: Any suspicious activity is reported promptly to the relevant financial intelligence units (FIUs) and regulatory bodies in accordance with legal obligations.

Training and Awareness

We ensure that all employees and relevant stakeholders receive ongoing training on KYC, AML, and ATF requirements. Our training programs reinforce the importance of compliance and equip staff with the knowledge to identify and respond to potential risks.

Governance and Accountability

Our compliance policies are overseen by a dedicated compliance team, which reports directly to senior management and the Board of Directors. We conduct periodic audits and reviews to continuously improve our risk controls and compliance posture.
